Into the Heart of Darkness (Prototype)
This is a prototype for a tactics game where soldiers must get from point A to point B without dying. You play as a soldier making their way through a procedurally generated level where the number of enemies increases as you venture deeper and deeper into the forest.
At present there are three types of enemies:
- Knife
- Pistol
- Suicide bombers
As a soldier you have a rifle, and you can collect grenades. Throwing a grenade at cover tiles will destroy the cover. Each turn you have two action points to use. You can use each action point to move, shoot, or throw grenade, then it will switch to the enemies and they will pursue you if you get too close to them. Shots can miss, hit, graze, or be critical.
